Dick is married to Joy (49 years) and has 2 adult children and 5 grandchildren; member of Resurrection of Our Lord Parish, St. Peter's Parish (founding Parish Council Chair), Holy Cross Parish and presently St. Maurice Parish.

Owned businesses (Centennial Auto Parts, Supra Key Control Ltd. –now GE Security, CAP Warehouse Distributors and MCU Group Inc.). Graduate St. Paul University; past Exec. Director of Ottawa Food Bank and the Christmas Exchange.

-30 years with Prison Fellowship Canada (inaugural Board of Directors; President) and 8 years on Prison Fellowship International Board representing the Americas and the Caribbean; Chairman of the International Council (visited several prisons in 46 countries)
